Job Description:
We’re seeking a dedicated Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring high levels of data integrity, availability, and security for our organizational operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
– Design, set up, and maintain both wired and wireless networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
– Troubleshoot network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal network performance.
– Collaborate with team members to optimize and enhance the existing network architecture.
– Implement and oversee network security measures to safeguard data and systems.
– Monitor network performance regularly and make recommendations for upgrades or changes.
– Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of networking protocols, IP subnets, VLAN, VPN, and other network technologies.
– Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
– Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
– Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
