Job Description:
Join our team as a Cybersecurity Analyst and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization’s data and IT infrastructure. You will be at the forefront, monitoring our systems for security breaches, investigating violations, and designing strategies to bolster our defense mechanisms against cyber threats.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur.
Implement and maintain security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by breaches.
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve the security of IT infrastructure and data.
Stay updated on the latest malware, hacker strategies, and security trends to better defend against threats.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in an information security role.
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, network technologies, and system security techniques.
Strong knowledge of the cyber threat landscape and hacker methodologies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CompTIA Security+.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
